Vendor Requirements & Policies

General Requirements

  • Vendors must provide their own tables, displays, and décor (CHM will provide every hut with garland and lights)
  • All booths must be decorated in a festive and holiday aesthetic.
  • Vendors must remain open for the full market hours.
  • All vendors must adhere to load-in and load-out times.

Product & Aesthetic Requirements

To maintain the high quality and cohesive holiday atmosphere of the Chardon Holiday Market, all vendor products will be reviewed for theme alignment.

The Chardon Holiday Market reserves the right to decline vendors whose products do not fit the aesthetic, quality level, or theme of the event.

Examples may include (but are not limited to):

  • Items that do not reflect holiday, handmade, artisan, boutique, or seasonal categories
  • Items that are overly simple, non-seasonal, or not aligned with the curated experience (e.g., undecorated pinecones, basic flea-market-style listings)
  • Products not meeting our quality standards
  • Booths that do not match the holiday-themed visual environment

This ensures the market remains curated, festive, and enjoyable for guests and vendors alike.

Insurance

  • All accepted vendors MUST have liability insurance.
  • COI with the additional insured must be submitted before approval.

Holiday Market Hut Requirements (if applicable)

  • Vendors may rent a themed holiday hut for a weekend or a season.
  • Hut décor cannot be removed — but vendors may add holiday touches.
  • All additional décor must be fire-safe.

Food Vendor Requirements

  • Must have proper licensing & permits for on-site food preparation, heating, or sampling.
  • Propane heaters must be approved in advance.

Electricity Rules

  • Only pre-approved equipment can be plugged in.
  • Limited availability — assigned on a first-come basis.

Cancellation Policy

  • No refunds after acceptance unless the event is canceled by organizers.
